Neptune is the last giant planet and the eighth planet from the sun. Winds blow around the planet and their speed is over 1,200 miles per hour. (1,931 kilometres per hour). It has more than 8 moons and the biggest moon is Triton. Millions of years from now, Triton could smash into Neptune as it keeps drifting closer to the giant planet. Jill McDonald
Jill McDonald

Jill McDonald was born in Wellington 1927. She drew a lot of illustrations for children’s books and school journal using crayons, stencils, inks, paints and dyes. Jill died in 1982, and some of her pictures weren't coloured in like the book ‘Number One’. All her pictures and illustrations were transferred to her mum in England. Let’s hope someone carries on drawing like her one day.
