Auckland Botanic Garden

Today the whole of Ruapotaka School went to the Auckland Botanic Garden. I thought we were not going to do any work but walk around to see some of the beautiful flowers and trees... but no! We had to take a paper worksheet and do some research on the plants we had seen. Well, it was kind of fun seeing plants we haven't seen before. Finally we're back at school from this tiring day!

First Snag-Golf Practice

Last Thursday, Room 12 started off the very first senior practice for Snag-golf and joining us was coach, Jay. We tried new things out and the important part is that we actually had fun. Probably once we've finished doing all our practices with this, we would be professional snag-golfers just like Lydia Ko.  Let's see what happens this week!

Tabloids

5 plus a day tabloids were on yesterday afternoon. Under the hot sun, we played many fun games. Our whole school joined in but we were separated into different teams. Even though it was hot and sunny, we still managed to have fun and have quality time from working in class.
