Modelling Clay - iPhone
Basically my whole class made an iPhone for their Modelling Clay task. Before, I made a green and blue iPhone but then I finished early so I made another one. It was called iPhone Fat 6. My other one turned out wrong in the end so now it's called Mini iPad Fat 6s. Made some changes and it still looked crunched up. Oh well, I'm glad I'm finally finished.
Book Study - Goosebumps Book
So about 1 week ago, we started planning on what we were going to do for our book study. But we had two choices, which was Lemony Snicket or R.L Stine who is the author of Goosebumps Book. Everybody voted for Goosebump Books. Goosebumps Book it is! After a while, everything was in place and was ready to stick on the BIG cardboard.
The Night Of The Living Dummy! You walk, I stalk, You heal, I feel, You run, I come. I'd get everything done! (my own sayings)

Touch Rugby Practice
Sadly today was the last Touch Rugby Practice with Trevor, who is the funny guy that embarrassed Heilala in front of everyone. Well, that’s me being sad since I didn't get to say a great goodbye to Trevor. (tears-tears) I hope he comes back and teaches us Touch Rugby again. Red Team Up!

World's Most Honest Countries
There are only 5-15 honest countries. But we weren't chosen to be one of them. Really? New Zealand isn't one of the 'honest countries'? Why aren't we chosen to be one of them? Turns out people think the U.K is the most honest country. Come on! We have the Pacific Islanders, and those other people from other countries. Good choice to the people who chose those other countries but live in NZ. New Zealand is the MOST honest country! Not me though.

World Stands with Paris
The French capital of Paris has been hit with a BIG number of attacks. People have been killed and murdered by the bomb throwing and shooting. On Friday evening (French time) police men and French soldiers help to keep everyone safe. Sadly over one hundred people were killed. Paris must be happy with all our support!

New Garden
Thanks to the Tamaki College boys, we will have our garden dug out and replaced with new plants and flowers. But what would I want to have in our new garden? Probably some taro and cassava. No, no! I'm just joking around. Well, to be very honest with you all, I would like some non-prickled plants but thorn roses and BIG bunches of gold fingers. That's not too girly girl right? So, there's my 'not coming true' garden.

Emoji Keyboard On Sale!
So as you haven't heard that there is an emoji keyboard on sale now. Many people say that this can't be true or they can't believe it, well believe it because maybe you'll get one for Christmas. Emoji's are very popular on iPhone's and some Samsung phones but this is a very new, maybe popular thing in the world. Cue for a cute emoji keyboard.

Rugby World Cup Winners!
The All Blacks have won the World Cup with 34-17 victory over Australia. The All Blacks led to 16-3 victory before half time. During the rugby game, Wallabies scored 2 tries of their own to get close to 21-17 but sadly they didn't catch up to New Zealand. New Zealand is the 1st country to win the World Cup three times. Proud coach, family members and rugby players cheering and being happy for we have brought the Web Ellis Cup home not once, not twice but THREE times!

Hallo-Pumpkin Faces
Tomorrow my evening schedule is signed for Halloween Sugar High Day. I'm totally not staying at home with the babies... sooo, I'm probably going trick or treating with my friends. But I'm not going to Islander houses for they might just give me a can of corn beef! I'll be going as a bottle of Fanta. Yes, I know it's very funny. But as long as I have something to wear.

My Busy Weekend
It was a early wake up on Saturday morning when mum wanted to go shopping. We got ready then drove off. Mangere Fair here I come! As soon as we got there, we went through every store finding the items on our grocery list. After that we drove back home quickly to make food for our special visitors who were coming over to have a meeting. When everything was done and the visitors were full, we cleaned up until everything was in place. After a while everything was done and it was time for my beauty sleep.

Drop! Cover! Hold!
So, instead of finishing off our spelling, the earthquake drill went on. RING! RING! RING! Went the bell 3 times and seeing everybody going down and under their desks.
After getting all squished and squashed under the desks, we all waited patiently for the other bell. When 5 or 7 minutes past, we heard the bell ring again. Then all of us got out from under our desks and went to start fitness.

The Planet Neptune
Neptune is the last giant planet and the eighth planet from the sun. Winds blow around the planet and their speed is over 1,200 miles per hour. (1,931 kilometres per hour). It has more than 8 moons and the biggest moon is Triton. Millions of years from now, Triton could smash into Neptune as it keeps drifting closer to the giant planet. Neptune WP:CC BY-SA

Maths makes my Brain Energized.
What am I looking forward to this term?
There's heaps of things I am looking forward to like writing and reading. But if I were to choose the most enjoyable subject, it will be 'Maths'. Learning decimals, fractions, multiplication and math problems in maths makes my brain more energized. Not reading or writing just maths.

Running to Success
On Wednesday, we had a inter school/cross country race. The year 3's started our race off. After a while it came to the year 7 girls. BOOM! BOOM! Went my heart pounding. PPHH! Went the whistle. Jogging as fast as I could to get up to the girls in front. 2 laps came and I was nearly at the finish line. "Don't trip, don't trip!", I was saying to myself but guess what? I tripped over and I twisted my ankle.
Finally in the lane to the finish line. I could hear supporters shouting, "GO MARANATHA!". Running as fast as I could (with my twisted ankle) to get to the finish line. But there was a girl (in the picture at the back of me) ran in front of me and I still couldn't run. I believed in myself and ran as fast as I could to get past her. YAY! Finally, I got past her and the finish line.

All Blacks beat Argentina in RWC!
The All Blacks have started their defence of the World Cup with a hard fought 26-16 victory over Argentina.
The All Blacks were made to work hard for the victory, eventually pulling away in the final 20 minutes. Both captain Richie McCaw and centre Conrad Smith were sin-binned in the first half as the Pumas went to the break with a 13-12 lead.
However, the All Blacks played better in the second half, scoring two tries to kill off the game. Halfback Aaron Smith and Sam Cane were the scorers for the All Blacks. A Rugby World Cup record crowd of just over 89,000 fans attended the game at Wembley Stadium, breaking the previous record of just under 83,000 at the 2003 final.

My Masterpiece
For the past few weeks or so, I’ve been making a shed in woodtech at Tamaki College. To make our grades high, we had to have joints, nothing loose but tight and a useful tool. I thought it would take FOREVER for this to finish because I didn’t believe in myself but I took a step forward and finished my shed all by myself. I’m proud of myself for accomplishing my work. This is the going to be the best selling masterpiece ever.

He has completed one race in Mexico and has been rewarded with a silver medal. His fastest bike ride is 110 kph. But before he rides, he puts on his gear which is his skin suit, helmet and shoes. Jill McDonald
Jill McDonald
Jill McDonald was born in Wellington 1927. She drew a lot of illustrations for children’s books and school journal using crayons, stencils, inks, paints and dyes. Jill died in 1982, and some of her pictures weren't coloured in like the book ‘Number One’. All her pictures and illustrations were transferred to her mum in England. Let’s hope someone carries on drawing like her one day.

Mad Messenger
Yesterday, we had two visitors come to our school. They explained to us that we are special, unique and we're different from others. Everyone enjoyed the music as Petia was drawing Iron Man. When the picture was done, we took photos with it. Room 11 and 12 had a great time with the Mad Messengers.

My Enjoyable Week
This week, I have been doing interesting and enjoyable things with my class. We help each-other on getting work finished as groups in our badminton lessons. In tech, we help each-other on measuring the lines and calculating the wood in millimeters. A nice week I had with my class.

Helping Each Other
Some people help others and some don’t.
People are poor and they always go out in places and beg for any spare change.. (I always give them money because I’m a good helper). Some people need help but most people seem just too busy to help them. A friend of mine helps everyone. She helps me too. She picks me or other people up when they fall and she always keeps them happy and doesn't make them feel left out. That’s called helping. Do you like people who help you or not?
Some people don’t care and sometimes, after you’ve helped them and given them advice on things, they change and start to hate you and that’s sad. People help because they care and they want your life to be happy. Helping people isn’t a big deal.
Be happy, don’t let others bring you down. You can’t help everyone but you can help someone in need.
