Jill McDonald was born in Wellington 1927. She drew a lot of illustrations for children’s books and school journal using crayons, stencils, inks, paints and dyes. Jill died in 1982, and some of her pictures weren't coloured in like the book ‘Number One’. All her pictures and illustrations were transferred to her mum in England. Let’s hope someone carries on drawing like her one day.
